Partisan Vodka is produced in the Black Forest. We specifically chose this location in Southern Germany because it combines everything essential for Eastern Style Vodka: proximity to fields with high-quality grain, fresh mountain spring water, and experienced distillers with a deep understanding of the craft. Together with them, we developed the recipe for German Partisan Vodka in an Eastern Style: with the goal of creating a vodka with character and at least the same quality as before.
It is distilled using copper stills and the rich knowledge gained from over 100 years of experience and tradition. This is how Partisan combines modern precision with authentic distilling craftsmanship; offering a vodka that derives its character from its origin, tradition, and genuine expertise.
Handmade and gently filtered for traditional Eastern Style Vodka
Most of the work for our vodka happens before filtering, not during. Our experienced master distiller knows exactly how to separate the distillate so that the desired aromas of the raw materials remain, while undesirable impurities are removed. Filtering can therefore be applied gently, as there are few unwanted impurities left to filter out. We do not believe in "dead-filtered" vodka. What remains in the end is a vodka that carries the aromas of its raw materials and impresses with its smoothness, despite its high alcohol content. A vodka with taste, for people with taste.
GOOD TASTE IS NEVER NEUTRAL
Vodka made with mountain spring water from the Black Forest
Vodka always consists largely of water. For us, water is therefore no minor detail. For the production of Partisan Vodka, we use pure mountain spring water from the Black Forest, which is captured high up on the mountain. This keeps it very soft, low in minerals, and clear—qualities that are
crucial for high-quality vodka. This particularly soft water has almost no distinct taste of its own and, through its restraint, provides a platform for the characteristic flavor: it gives the distillate space and ensures a clean, balanced mouthfeel.

Sustainable Vodka Production
Those who work cleanly also handle resources cleanly. In the production of Partisan Vodka, we therefore rely on sustainable principles wherever possible:
Short distances: We use grain from the region and mountain spring water directly from the distillery’s location. The water flows from the spring under its own pressure, so it does not need to be pumped energy-intensively.
Clean energy: During production, we use electricity from renewable sources, such as our own photovoltaic system. In addition, process heat is reused to conserve resources.
Zero waste: Since a significant amount of grain remains after vodka production, these "by-products" are also largely put to sustainable use: as animal feed in agriculture and for regional power generation.
