We are poster fans, so in the summer of 2013 we asked five artists to design a poster on the subject of “heart and soul” using the means they chose themselves.

MARC JUNG - He lives and works in Erfurt. In 2011 he obtained his diploma in free art at the Bauhaus University Weimar with Prof. Elfi Fröhlich. 2009|2010 Marc studied painting in the class of Prof. Daniel Richter at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In 2012 he began his master class studies with Prof. Wolfram Adalbert Scheffler at the Dresden University of Fine Arts. Marc focuses on the media of painting, drawing, object and installation in an expressive-abstract-figurative way.

For him, art is the gigantic funnel of an oversized meat grinder that sucks in all his observations of daily madness, messes them up and spits out something that brings this reality to a common denominator. While doing this job, she doesn't have to be beautiful, just honest, like a knockout.
